USN Kolaka Participates 10 P2MW Groups in KMI Expo XIV in Bali

FRASI.BIZ – University of Sembilanbelas November (USN) Kolaka succeeded in including 10 Business Groups of the Entrepreneurial Student Development Program (ESDP) in the Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (ISE) Expo XIV at Ganesha University of Education Bali which will take place on November 15-17, 2023.

USN Kolaka Rector Nur Ihsan explained that the 10 P2MW groups that were included in the KMI Expo had passed the selection of the Ministry of Education Culture Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).

“Each P2MW group initially submits a proposal, then is selected by the ministry, so you could say the selection is quite strict because it is followed by universities throughout Indonesia. Alhamdulillah, this year we can pass 10 P2MW groups and have received funding from the Ministry of Research and Technology,” said Nur Ihsan.

P2MW activities, said Nur Ihsan, aim to generate entrepreneurial potential among students.

“So that when the students finish, they are no longer confused about looking for work, but can immediately create jobs,” he said.

In the same place, the Chairperson of the USN Kolaka Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW), Masitah explained, at KMI Expo 2023 there are 2 activities, namely the main and supporting activities. In the main activity there are several categories, namely, the digital business category (popakos), the food / beverage category (kripte snack chips).

“For the main activity that competes for the KMI Award, two ESDP USN Kolaka groups will participate,” said Masitah.

While for supporting activities there are categories, namely, Social Media Marketing Contest (SM2C) which was attended by 10 groups of P2MW USN Kolaka, then stand up comedy with the theme of entrepreneurship and business poster categories.

“There are additional activities, namely the best stand from 300 universities participating in KMI Expo 2023,” she said.

Masitah added, at the 2021 KMI Expo event, USN Kolaka only included 1 group and the following year it increased to 5 groups. While in 2023 there was a significant increase to 10 groups.
